Over 30 days, we had the incredible opportunity to dive into some of Turkey’s most renowned destinations, from bustling cities to tranquil beaches, and from ancient ruins to natural wonders. Join me as I recount the highlights of our Turkish adventure, showcasing a blend of the well-traveled and the hidden gems.
Days 1-5: Istanbul – The City of Two Continents
Our journey began in Istanbul, a city that stands as a majestic bridge between Europe and Asia. Istanbul, with its mix of ancient tradition and modern influence, immediately impressed us with its vibrant energy and a plethora of sights.
Cruise on the Bosphorus:
Our introduction to Istanbul was a picturesque cruise along the Bosphorus Strait. From the vantage point of our boat, we marveled at the juxtaposition of ornate Ottoman palaces and modern skyscrapers lining the waterfront. The gentle breeze and sparkling water set the stage for the wonders we would soon explore.
Hagia Sophia:
No visit to Istanbul is complete without stepping foot in the magnificent Hagia Sophia. Paragliding:
